The City of Shehrabad
The City of Shehrabad is the only settlement on The Isle of Shehrabah. The city sits on Mount Durga. It is the hair of the Durga statue for the Shehrabad Durga Temple. The walls that surround the city and separate Shehrabad Upper Ring from the Shehrabad Lower Ring act as a headdress with Shehrabad Palace acting as the crown.
Demographics
The rich (mostly women) live in Shehrabad Palace or in the Shehrabad Upper Ring. The poorer citizens (mostly men) live in the Shehrabad Lower Ring. Many of them work in the Shehrabad Fields or the Shehrabad Mines. The Shehrabad Fields, Shehrabad Upper Ring and Shehrabad Lower Ring are separated stone walls coated in gold.

Defences
The rock formations guard the island from intruders. They seem to move with the tide. The only way to still them and create a path is with the Earth Piece.
Industry & Trade
The city’s main resource are the gemstones and gold that come the Shehrabad Mines. Many people work there or on Shehrabad Fields to farm. Shehrabad is mostly self-sufficient and exports more than it imports.
Infrastructure
On the city side surface of Mount Durga there are slots in the ground that feed into three underground lakes. This provides the city’s water supply.
History
The city was built by the first queen of The Queendom of Shehrabad in a great feat of magic using the Earth Piece of the Damon Amulet.
Architecture
Shehrabad architecture is derived from architecture of West Bengal. West Bengal was not rich in good stone for building, and traditional Bengali architecture mostly uses brick and wood, often reflecting the styles of the wood. Decorative carved or moulded plaques of terracotta (the same material as the brick) are a special feature. However in Shehrabad all building are made of black toramolli stone(tourmaline). The sides are then decorated with semi-precious gemstones. Most buildings have black slanted roofs, but a few have Bengali curved roofs made of semi-precious stones. These roofs are good for the very heavy rains and makes the city look vaguely Indo-Islamic. From a distance the roof colors give the illusion of the Durga statue from Shehrabad Durga Temple having black hair decorated with gemstones.
