Geography: Located within the ancient forest of Mithtaur lies fabled Valanas, also known in the common tongue as the Vale of the Unicorn. Filled with enormous old growth oaks and hickories, it provides one of the last refuges of the majestic Valorn trees that occasionally reaching heights of over 600 feet. Revered by elves and faeries, the legendary enchanted forest clearing, possesses powerful transformative and healing magic.
At its center there lies a small pool of sparkling clear water that is fed by a sacred spring that emerges from a large 4-foot-tall cluster of clear quartz crystals at the base of a small hill. Water bubbles out from the crystals and runs into a small rock lined pool of white quartz before running downslope into a small stream. Legends say that drinking the enchanted waters of the pool will heal completely both body and soul. All physical injuries will quickly heal, and the body will be restored to perfect health. In addition, all injuries to the mind and spirit will heal and the individual will be transformed to a positive path moving forward.
