Dungeons & Dragons Character Creation Guidelines:

Your gnome character has certain characteristics in common with all other gnomes.

Ability Score Increase. +2 Constitution, +2 Charisma, and –2 Strength

Age. Garuun gnomes mature at the same rate humans do, and most are expected to settle down into an adult life by around age 40. They can live 350 to almost 500 years.

Alignment. Garuun gnomes are most often good. Those who tend toward law are sages, engineers, researchers, scholars, investigators, or inventors. Those who tend toward chaos are minstrels, tricksters, wanderers, or fanciful jewelers. Gnomes are good-hearted, and even the tricksters among them are more playful than vicious.

Size. Garuun gnomes are between 3 and 4 feet tall and average about 40 pounds. Your size is Small. Garuun receive an additional +4 AC against attacks by Giants.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Low-light vision. Garuun can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Gnomish Cunning. You have advantage on all saving throws against Illusions. The DC of spells you cast is based on your Charisma. The DC of any Illusions you cast recieves a +1. Garuun with a Charisma scores of 11 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities 1/day: Dancing Lights, Minor Illusion, Prestidigitation, and Speak with Animals.

+1 bonus on attack rolls against reptilian and goblinoid humanoids.
Weapon Familiarity: Gnomes can use any weapon with the word “gnome” in its name, no matter their usual weapon proficiencies.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Garuun. The Gnomish language, which uses the Dwarvish script, is renowned for its technical treatises and its catalogs of knowledge about the natural world.
