Sondai

Sondai is a ruined city in Soll located in the Plains of Sond. It was once the third largest city in Soll, after Sollg'anor and Port Mithr. The city was destroyed during the Great Wars. Some survivors formed the Crusader Band called the Avengers of Sond which still lives on today but is a rather small company.  

History

Founding

When Sollg'anor and Telrokora where booming cities Sondai was still a farming town. But towards the end of the Aldrai Realm the town had grown into a large city nearly rivaling Talrokora.  

The Ruin & the League of Sond

After the Ruin among the confusion and chaos Sondai quickly managed to stabilize itself and it's surrounding area. The League of Sond was created and with Sondai being the largest city in the area it became the capital. The League included the Plains of Sond, Rensond and the Mountains of Renn, which is most of the northwestern part of Soll. The League lasted only a few centuries before it joined Sollg'anor and the Realm of Soll under the First Patriarch.  

The Great Wars

During the Great Wars the city was besieged by the Nhalrai and ultimately burnt to the ground, in what would be known as the Burning of Sondai. Today only ruins remain of it, the Burning of Sondai remains one of the greatest tragedies for the Sollrai.
