The disappearance of the Old Gods, which brought tragedy. Those both major and minor went silent, leaving their duties unfulfilled until others ascended in their places. Those few left from the once extensive Pantheon helped to heal the devastation and now continue to watch over the world, though with much heavier burdens.  

"What of those left? Who would take responsibility of those domains left cold and empty?   The Sleeper's soft murmurs are silenced, the Dreamer's kind guidance is lost. The Huntress and Warmonger's game is left unfinished. The Weaver's gentle hands are replaced by another's, unknown to us.   Who are the gods we're now to call on? How are we to know them in their silence, so much like the emptiness their predecessors left behind?"
