Forbflaith NicOgilvie
Forbflaith NicOgilvie
Biological parent of Ninsun MhacDouglas, daughter of Ogilvie, wife of Alpin MacEoganan
Personality Characteristics
Representation & Legacy
Traditionally, daughters would stay with her family until marriage, where her sister would have made her a Straw Mother. But instead Ninsun moved to the city of Kutzk alone, wanting to go her own way. Forbflaith would still make her a Mother to take with her, as to not forget her home, and to give a way for Cailleach to find her.
This doll would pass on to Forbflaith's granddaughter, where it would watch over her great-grandchildren.
Decades after both her and her daughter Ninsun's deaths, granddaughter Forbflaith would sneak the Mother into her estranged sisters ship before she sailed away from Kutzk forever, in an effort to make sure someone would continue to look after her so far from her homeland.
