Anndra a'Penrimond
A visionary that changed the course of history
Boss-oyabun Anndra a'Penrimond
Anndra a'Penrimond grew up in the East Docks, son of a merchant with close ties to several shipping companies. He grew up with more luxuries than many in Fields Side but also was very personable and easily amassed the power and support to be Boss by his early 20s
He campaigned against occupation - Kutsukku had never declared allegiance to The World Government, and its independence needed to be respected - and in 1503successfully drove the Marines off the island for the first time in centuries. He was the first Crime Lord made City Leader openly by the public.
Fearing more marine interventions, Anndra made a big part of his reign beefing up the defenses of Kutzk. To the point he nearly bankrupted the city.
On Jul 6 1506 John MacWilliam would challenge Anndra's reign. The city would burn, the docks reduced to ash, the lower class left worse off than they'd been under Anndra for decades.
In 1507, Marines would try to infiltrate Kutsukku once more, and Anndra's fortifications repelled them, with the Marine captain being publicly executed after the fact. It didn't make him a hero, but many started to wonder if if he'd been disposed to hastily.
Intelligence & Identity
Employment
Unlike many City Officals, Boss-oyabun Anndra had no issues emplying the lowest of the city's pecking orders. He was well known to hire street kids for work, and had a massive messange system across the whole of the city. Under his family, there was a change to rise in the ranks that even most under lords could not match
Accomplishments & Achievements
November 30th is the day Anndra removed the last marine from Kutsukku. And as such, to this day, regardless of how people saw Boss-oyabun Anndra in the end, He is still celebrated on this day with feasts and festivities
Naming References:
Saint Andrew's Day (Scots: Saunt Andra's Day, Scottish Gaelic: Là Naomh Anndrais / Latha Naomh Anndra), also called the Feast of Saint Andrew or Andermas, is celebrated on 30 November, during Scotland's Winter Festival. It is Scotland's official national day. The celebration of Saint Andrew as a national festival among some social strata and locales is thought to originate from the reign of Malcolm III (1058–1093). It was thought that the ritual slaughter of animals associated with Samhain was moved to this date to ensure enough animals were kept alive for winter. Saltire: Saint Andrew's Day is an official flag day in Scotland. The Scottish Government's flag-flying regulations state that the flag of Scotland (the Saltire or Saint Andrew's Cross) shall fly on all its buildings with a flagpole. Before 2002, the Scottish Government followed the UK Government's flag days and would fly the Saltire on Saint Andrew's Day only. The regulations were updated to state that the Union Flag would be removed and replaced by the Saltire on buildings with only one flagpole. Celebrations: In Scotland and many countries with Scottish connections, Saint Andrew's Day is marked with a celebration of Scottish culture and traditional Scottish food and music. In Scotland, the day is also seen as the start of a season of Scottish winter festivals encompassing Saint Andrew's Day, Hogmanay and Burns Night. There are week-long celebrations in the town of St Andrews and some other Scottish cities.
