Ibaro
Demographics
Ibaro is a mostly Heiyan city with a fair number of Narscillian immigrants and a small number from a few other nations. Most Ibaronians make a good living with the support of the Draconis family. A few of the oldest families have grand estates within the city, but none rival the Draconis clan for their wealth and power within the settlement.
In Ibaro they worship a pantheon called the Skyward Sovereigns, composed of Asherah the Rider, Sariel the Waning Moon, Ananiel Stormsinger, and Kokabiel Starwatcher.
Government
The Draconises have ruled Ibaro since its founding, passing rulership from parent to eldest. The Draconises have always treated their people with compassion, rarely taxing them and largely leaving them to their own devices. It has only been occasionally when the Lords of Ibaro had to step in and use their power.
Defences
Dragon's Eye Tower: An imposing stone watchtower constructed a half mile off the shore. The drake riders there are ever watchful, and wrathful in their fiery reprisal to attempted invaders.
Dracon Yashiki: The grand manor and castle of the Draconis family. Constructed from intricately carved marble and rose quartz gifted to the Draconis family long ago by the Danielopoulos family in Kipos, the citadel stands beautiful and high above the town.
Infrastructure
Ibaro sports a modest dock where fishermen berth their ships at night. The streets are dirt but well kept. On the fringe of the city is a single windmill responsible for fanning the fires within a giant furnace. The furnace is so large because they must be able to forge the plates to drake armor.
