Milky Way
The Milky Way is the galaxy in which the Sol system and Earth are located, and as such, it is the main setting for Project: Avalon.
It is split roughly into 4 quadrants, with the Alpha Quadrant positioned as the southwest quadrant, the Beta Quadrant as the southeast, the Gamma Quadrant as the northwest, and the Delta Quadrant as the northeast, respectively.
The Milky Way is a barred spiral galaxy.
