Executive Johnson

CEO

Executive John Johnson, most commonly referred to as merely "Executive Johnson", is the current CEO of Johnson Industries. On board the highly coveted Rig-573, he and his megacorporation have an iron grip on CETA's businesses and even influence political decisions for the nation.

Hardships

Born during the year of 2139 into a small settlement of survivors by the name of Robeline, John was no stranger to hard labor. His days as a child were spent learning skills from elder members of his group to survive in the desolate wasteland of what was once Canada, which was quickly falling under the influence of migrating Americans. With the arrival of immigrants from the lower continent came a new slew of ideologies - one his tribe had quickly adapted and made their own. One of these ideologies was the art of trade. John's group had become known for creating and selling makeshift weaponry fashioned from scrap metal extracted from the ruins of settlements around Robeline. Such weapons were used against the beasts of the land and rival groups. This simple practice drew the young John's attention - and he managed most trades when he grew old enough to do so.   With demand came the ever growing need for supply. Simple routes to nearby ruins were quickly dried up of resources over the years, and the small community of Robeline had begun losing favor with wandering caravans and surrounding tribes they regularly traded with. To John, this was simply unacceptable - and he begun devising a plan to explore farther than anyone has ever gone from his home town. Charting a course for the eastern part of the land, he hoped to find another city in shambles, full of abandoned vehicles and buildings to loot. Such an endeavor would surely push the tribe of Robeline back to the top. Or... so he thought.

The Minefield

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Dragging along a small group of similar minded traders from his hometown of Robeline, John sought out a nearby city rumored to lie just eastward of his hometown. With a compass to guide him, he arrived at his so called destination. Gazing upon a field full of destroyed vehicles, human remains, and tall grass - a grin crossed the tinkerer's face. They've hit the big leagues! The Robeline tribe will prosper once more.   However, most notable of all - these machines were unlike any other that the group has encountered before. Unbeknownst to the explorers, the field coincidentally filled to the brim with lucrative vehicles and rich skeletal remains happened to be a minefield from a forgotten time. With some of the group filling their bags, they had begun to branch off to head further into the clearing of opportunity. John kept a wary eye on his tribe of scavengers, plotting out their return route in the mean time and ensuring they'd have enough food to make the journey back.   All was quiet. One could hear a pin drop in this desolate clearing of riches. Then , without warning - a thunderous explosion that rocks the ground rumbles the field. John is knocked from his feet, head sent into a world of pain from the ear piercing sound that rocked the area. Once the smoke cleared and the haze settled - two of his group members were scattered into bloodied pieces strung about the clearing. Panic quickly took over the scavengers, resulting in several following explosions as the tribe attempted to flee from the original blast.   Only three from the original dozen had survived the minefield - with John being one of them. The tinkerer was glad to even have a semblance of a bag to bring back home. With a crippled arm, broken morals, and an empty stomach, the trio of men returned to Robeline with little to show of their journey. Many doubted they even made it to their so called city. Blame shifted to John about the fates of the many who were slain in the minefield incident, as he was the person insistent on such a treacherous expedition. After a brief scuffle and argument for all to see in the center of the settlement, John was ostracized from his hometown of Robeline. With nowhere to go, he decided to begin wandering southbound until he eventually collapsed due to exhaustion.   His dreams were wild during this period of time, replaying the nightmare of the minefield tragedy until he became desensitized to such a vision. After all, why feel pity over those who are long gone? Not only that - those are the same people who forced him out of his once beloved home. Johnson's long dreams had affected him far more than his physical wounds could ever.

Unknown Benefactor

Johnson awakens the following morning, with hands and legs bound together. Thrown hastily upon the back of a horse, it becomes clear he's been taken by a traveling caravan group. After noticing the makeshift revolver adorning John's hip, the merchants decided the stranger would be of use to them. Traveling by horse down to the construction zone that was the town of Fieldale, Johnson would receive treatment for his crippled arm in return for hard labor and the rebuilding efforts of the settlement. During this time, he acquired more skills in working alongside others and the marvels of metal alloys that went into the many structures he saw built.   Workers would note Johnson's almost spiteful resolve during his long hours. Those who would attempt to investigate or pry into Johnson's past would receive the cold shoulder or uninterested responses. As a result, John would spend his time away from work in self driven isolation - believing the residents in Fieldale to be conspiring against him just as the people of Robeline did. Despite the hurdle of needing to be away from others, he could not quench the Capitalist embedded deep within him. During days without labor, Johnson's tent would become a place of commerce. Using materials stolen from his place of work, John would create experimental devices framed as self defense weapons.
