Vessirath
Vessirath is a heavily forested island and is home to the unique Heartwood Tree, Thevaluable heartwood is well suited to shipbuilding. It is easy to work, extremely durable, and surprisingly light. The Heartwood Tree also grows extraordinarily quickly as much as 10ft a year under the right conditions. Access to this tree has given rise to a robust shipbuilding community here in Vessirath. Many of the legendary ships from recent history were crafted here including the ship helmed by Saint Caelan of the Waves, the Wavesong. Most of the industry in Vessirath centers around the construction of ships, mainly logging and textiles.
