Creation Myth
At the beginning of time, four beings came into existence. One was given the power and wisdom to control fire and the name Fornax. Another, named Vayu-Vata, was gifted the knowledge needed to harness the wind. Melakka used their immense strength to bend the earth to their will. Finally the graceful Boann controlled the water. Together these Primordials created a world both vast and mysterious. They worked hand in hand to create every aspect of their new domain, combining their power to create everything from the tallest mountain to the smallest grain of sand. After a millennia of creating they sought to bring life to this world. They began to imbue shapeless masses with the very essence of their being. After the creatures, now referred to as "Gods", obtained sentience the Primordials allowed themselves to rest and watched their creation from a distance.
These Gods began to unravel the mysteries of the world they inherited. They spent eons developing magic, settling their domains, and creating non-sentient life. They then discovered thier ability to imbue certain creatures with sentience, these creatures would become the races that inhabit the world to this day. The Gods lived in peace with their creations, creating wonderful and thriving civilizations. But jealousy began to show its ugly face. A few of the gods realized that the more worshipers you had, the more your own power grew. So the gods ordered their followers to attack and destroy the followers of other gods in the earliest wars. Many centuries of fighting eventually lead to The Orb Wars and eventually The Rending.
