Downtown District (Wealthy & Business-Oriented)   Description: The Downtown District is the financial and commercial heart of Lumaria. It features towering skyscrapers, corporate headquarters, and luxury high-rises, all surrounded by clean streets, upscale shopping centers, and fine dining. The area houses the city’s major tech firms, investment banks, and the city’s stock exchange. This district is the epitome of wealth and prestige, home to high-powered executives, business tycoons, and entrepreneurs.   Key Features: Corporate Headquarters: Major companies, especially in tech and finance, have their headquarters here. Luxury Residences: High rise apartments and condos, many with stunning views of the Columbia River. Exclusive Clubs & Restaurants: Michelin starred dining, private clubs, and bars frequented by the city’s elite. The Capital Plaza: A sprawling business center with office spaces, banks, and corporate suites. Riverside Walk: A luxurious riverfront promenade for high end shopping, restaurants, and scenic views.   Red Hollow District (Crime-Ridden & Struggling)   Description: In sharp contrast, Red Hollow is one of the most economically struggling areas of Lumaria. Originally a residential neighborhood built in the early 20th century, it has since become a hotbed of poverty, crime, and urban decay. The district is notorious for gang activity, drug trafficking, and street-level crime, with abandoned buildings, graffiti-covered walls, and broken-down infrastructure dotting the landscape. It’s a place where the poorest of Lumaria’s population live and often struggle to get by.   Key Features: High Crime Rates: The area is known for violent crime, gang-related incidents, and a general sense of lawlessness. Decaying Infrastructure: Many of the buildings are old and falling apart, with crumbling roads and poorly maintained public spaces. Underground Economy: Aside from the visible street crime, the district also harbors illegal activities, from black market goods to underground gambling rings. Community Support: Despite the issues, there are community organizations and local leaders trying to fight for a better future for the residents, with grassroots efforts focused on improving the living conditions.   Notable Landmarks: The Iron District Market: A bustling but dangerous marketplace where street vendors sell cheap goods and shady deals often go down in the back alleys. Red Hollow Docks: The dilapidated riverfront where old warehouses are used for illicit trade, and the streets are dimly lit and dangerous after dark. The Old Factory Complex: A massive, abandoned industrial site that has become a hideout for gangs and a hub for illegal activities.
