City Runner - Blizzard and Firestorm capture alleged member of crime syndicate

Firestorm and Blizzard were, according to MCPD sources, instrumental in capturing the Powered thug Eddie Verdinais, AKA The Hacksaw. During an interview with the press afterwards, Blizzard had the following to say:

"[Firestorm] and I have worked tirelessly over the last few days to manage to bring down the Vetrinelli Family who have, for too long, managed to evade police capture; whether through intimidation, extortion or just leaning on the corrupted officials and officers they have in their pockets. Hoperfully, now that 'Hacksaw' is detained, the Millennium City Police Department can actually get something solid and start dismantling this organisation."

Where Hero Monikers have not been used by those 'Wearing the Cape', we have substituted the Heroes name, in order to protect those around them. We will bring you further updates on this story as it develops.   UPDATE: After the recent article from Millennium City News Network regarding the assault on the suspected home of one of the City's Heroes, Scott Star speaks out against recent actions, warning those who stand against the crime and corruption in our city to be vigilant and keep their identities secret, whilst simultaneously calling for the press to respect the work these people are trying to do and not expose their true identities...
  During his first interview since the event, Scott told City Runner reporter Poppy Patel that he would be calling for the City Scoop to be accountable for their part in the death of a family in Fairview.
