Circulus-Candelae Principality
Circulus-Candelae, often referred to as the Circulus-Candelae Principality or the Dual Monarchy, is a constitutional monarchy and major power in Eastern Androite. It was formed with the Circulus-Candelae Constitution of 322 in the unrest that was caused by the aftermath of the Second Crusade against Hell. The Union was almost dissolved due to its defeat in the Great War.
Circulus-Candelae was ruled by the House of Sircle and constituted the last phase in the constitutional evolution of the Sircle monarchy. It is a multinational state and one of Androite's reginal powers at this time. Circulus-Candelae is geographically the third-largest country in Androite after the Republic of Gorland and the Grand Dutchy of Ambulania respectively. It is also the third-most populous (after Gorland and Mrance). The Principality built up the fourth-largest machine building industry in the world, after the Mrance, Nixland, and the Chinza Empire.
At its core was the dual monarchy, which was a real union between Circulus, the western parts of the former Circulus Empire, and the Kingdom of Candelae. Following the 322 reforms, the Circulus and Candelae states were co-equal in power. The two states conduct common foreign, defense, and financial policies, but all other governmental faculties were divided among respective states.
Circulus-Candelae was one of the few members of the Civilized Powers in the Great War, which began with a Paradisian war declaration on the Grand Dutchy of Ambulania on 20 February 990. Despite siding with Paradise during the war, it was spared from the same humiliation that its much stronger ally suffered.

Agriculture & Industry
The systems of industry and agriculture varies greatly depending on where in the principality you are. Circulus' economy revolves mostly around secondary industry, specifically the production of items made from Mag. Industry around Mag in Circulus makes up 86% of its total economy. In contrast, Candelae's economy revolves mostly around the extraction of said Mag, which makes up a third of its economy.
