The Ruby Orchid

The Ruby Orchid or the red Forest is a large forest located towards  center of the content or in the North of nightlia just above the great planes. Its is mostly flat but slight rough or hilly terrain coated in a thick blanket of forests and pockets of Grassland.  The main attraction of the region though is its targets span of forest towards the center known as the Ruby Orchid.  Wile the hole forested Region is not made up of this specific forests specifically being split among the main forest ( the rugby Orchid) and smaller forests that break up the region filling its gaps especially between its spans of hill land and Grassland. The Ruby Orchid however is special as it is home a to a unique tree known as a crimson oak witch makes up a bulk of the lands .

Like most forest the red forest cycles as the seasons go on sheding leaves in autumn being bare in winter and starting to regrow in spring . In the winter months the forest is rather desolate as the area lacks any variety of evergreen and as such is bare in the winter and autumn months . However during autom its leaves stay the same colour always being a vibrant crimson red

Wile no special effect truly prevails over the area the regions signature tree the crimson oak is found no where else in the world and is a spectical with its white bark and red leaves witch never change colour.

This region of the empire often referred to as the northern empire has a more Temperate warmer climate having rather hot summers and some what mild winter being very much in between not too hot not too cold. It dose however have a fair amount of rain and spikes of sunny weather rather than long stretches.

The main draw of the Ruby Orchid is beautiful trees known as the crimson Oaks . These trees stand around the same hight as an oak however they have white bark and crimson red leaves . The tree itself is a spectical especially as it encompasses most of the region . It's said they where planet hundreds of years ago by a morning Nobel who longed to see his dead wife again so planted a tree of her favour colour every day . Due to this story sprigs or saplings of this tree are common gifts to people in morning or to be layed on coffens as a memorial. The tree also has a unique property its leaves make a stupendous red witch never looses it colour .    Other noble plant of the region are the flame herb , The ethol Berry Bush,  vein ivy and Blood lillys . As well as the Emrald grass that coats the forest floors coming from the emrald planes just to the south of the region.     The flame herb of the region orgniates from the world's gem region however was brought over by refugees fleeing the dragon attack . The herb is magical in nature but dose not have any potent effect in its raw form . In its raw form its spicy and tast naturaly smoky being hotter than most regular chillies but not by much. In a concentrated form the herb gives you resistance to heat and fire its regular form wile not having this effect still dose warm you up significantly.
