Drow/ Dark elf
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dark elves also known as drow are tall slender humanoids with king limbs purple skin and white or grey hair. They have pointed ears and bio luminescent eyes in the dark.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dark elves reproduce sexually being able to bare children every 20 or so years. They reach sexual maturity at around 60-70 years old
Growth Rate & Stages
They reach a sexually mature stage at around 60-70 years however army considered adults till they earn there paint ( a ritual right of passage) they age at a very slowed rate and can live up to around 300-400 years
Ecology and Habitats
The Drow evolved in the under-dark and as such adapted to deal with the climate. They live in the great mushroom forest as well as the safer upper-darks caves and caverns. They also have expansive large cities known as bastions in the underdark.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Drow are omnivores mostly feeding on mushrooms and insects as their primary diet. They tend not to like vegetables due to their scares nature where they live but meat and fish are delicacy’s to them.

Drow typically fall into line of witch-ever kingdom they are part of how drows follow a matriarch where a female head leads the family with men typically being at the bottom sections of the pecking order. Women also lead romantic and political aspirations.

Wile in the current day they have spread fate and wide they are still More clustered around the under-dark
Average Intelligence
Drow have the average intelligence of most elves being slightly abound the common human level . There king life spans allowing for more academic and cultural research.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Drow have exceptional hearing to the point it is nearly echo location. This is to help the navigation the dark echoey tunnels of the under-dark. They also have near perfect eye sight in the dark having exceptional dark vision.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Drow have a symbiotic relationship with the gaunt spiders of the under-dark. When they moved to the underdark they quickly realised they must coexist with them to survive and over hundreds of years they have developed a powerful alliance. The sliders help hunt and protect the Drow and the Drow make sure they have stable food and protection for their eggs.
Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Drow have similar naming traditions to elves however the head female of family will always name the members of the family. It’s also not uncommon to have male Drow with female names or unisex names as having a females name is supposedly lucky to Drow.
Beauty Ideals
Drows see a slim and muscular body as beautiful they also see the darker and richer skin tones as more appealing. They also tend to find more dominant personality traits as more attractive.
Gender Ideals
In Drow society females are always the head / lead. Wile names are expected to be submissive and subservience . However over the years these gender roles have become less extreme
History
The ancient ancestors of the Drow were a group who fled the great culling by using deep cave systems to flee to the under-dark to hide from the monster hordes. This lead to them evolving to adapt to this dangerous environment. They slowly evolved perfect dark vision, darker skin for camouflage and other adaptation to survive the environment. Over time they develop a complex society and moved to a matriarchy due to there worship of the angel of the under dark as well as the great respect they had for the queen and here 3 daughters who lead the Drow to establish a great society. They often referred to as the sisters of renaissance.

They tend to have a skin tone any where from shades of pastel purples and blues to light greys and some cases even black. There hair colour ranges form white to very light greys blues and purples.
