A shimmering Coatl, believed to be a divine herald of the swamp itself, descended into their camp. It was tamed and revered as a living god, cementing the Mireborn’s belief they were chosen to rule. The arrival of the Coatl in 510 PR changed everything. The radiant serpent-bird descended upon the Mireborn’s central lair, resting on the Mireth Throne. To the Dominion, this was a divine sanction. With dragon, dinosaur, and Coatl alike under their dominion, the Mireborn’s power surged. They became a terror to river traffic, strangling trade routes between Tibur and its colonies.
