Drones
Drones are one of the technologies stolen from society during The Overtaking. Drones are tiny flying machines that can be controlled by magic users' familiars. They can fly as far away from the magic user as they want, but will only be able to communicate telepathically with the user within their range.
The most basic drones were only made with reconnaissance in mind and were not intended to engage in combat of any kind. However, there were other drones created by the goblins and kobolds with more specific uses. While the basic drones can be piloted by any familiar, the more special drones require higher-level familiars to pilot them.

The most basic type of drone that can be flown by any magical familiar. These drones are not built for combat, are made to flee at any sign of hostility.
