Steelwind (Steel-wind)

Steelwind, is the independent sky nation within Caelum under the rule of the Skyraider's Flame.   On the southern continent of the area, it hides above the light of ancient cliffs that are worn by the relentless onslaught of the cloud sea winds. They are blessed by the Sun God Ra. The city is spread out over the land, each controlled by the sky of dragon rides from the isle of dragons. The city maintains safety and protection over the dragons and the land itself, and employees trained individuals known as the Skyriders Flame within the sky of the city.   The Kingdom of Steelwind contains the Eos's Crystal within the capital. It is ruled by the Zooey, Arbiter of the Skies that is sworn to protect the crystall and can wield its power. It is described as highly advanced and culturally intact.   It prospers thanks to the presence of its Crystal, this magical artifact allenates the kingdom from the rest of the world, and warns off others from the dragonic continent. It is said that the main keeper of the nation is meant to be someone who ages rapidly to keep the protection around the land   Dragon Riding is a national sport of Sylvhorkis

Government

Steelwind is ruled by an monarch bloodline, however unlike most nations. Rulership is divided between the bloodline and the highest ranking member of Steelwind's miltarty, and for this reason the highest miltary positions are restricted to Sylvhorkis only. The ruler is known as the Arbiter of the Skies and the nation is currently ruled by Captain Zooey. The Captain is then advised by a group of senior advisors and the monarch bloodline who helps in the actual running of the staff and country.

Industry & Trade

Steelwind thrives thanks to its vast realm been home to many ecosystems. There is a nationwide economic disparity between the Steelwind citizens and those who live on the outlands. The outlands suffer from a lack of infrastructural development and decline of major fields of commerce and industry. the way of life outside Steelwind has stagnated, being in many ways three decades behind the city. Products from Steelwind are valued throughout the outer regions, as they are difficult to come by.   Many varieties of fish exist throughout Lucian waterways. Fish are valued as food and for their components used in consumer products. Hunting is a both a civil service and a contribution to the economy whose goods and game from wild monsters are valued to maintain environmental stability and civil peace. Wild beasts' appendages can be salvaged into tools, crafting materials, and items of luxury.   Many abandoned mining operations litter the realm. Due to the rescaling of the Wall 30 years ago, daemons likely make excavation and extraction work difficult to continue. Personal modes of transportation, such as wyverns and dragons, are also an evidence of the divide, as dragons have now been used for miltary or high-classed individuals.   Because of the lack of a direct method of obtaining raw earth materials to process into metals, recycling and scrap re-salvaging is a common practice in the outer lands. Coloured stones and ores are valued as a source of paint, building stones for infrastructure, and their accessibility for their sources remaining aboveground.
