The Natural Dome
Gloomfield the capital city of Edelyin. It is located within the middle of the Verduran Forests, a dense forest that serves as the protection gate towards the city. It serves as a magical barrier that is designed to protect the city from rogue elements and those that wish to damage the nation with harmful technology and violence.
It is known as the most unified of the countries, having guilds that work within each other to work in cooperation under the right hand of Euphoria Bell and the Order of the Moon, They are protected by the natural habitats of the spirits and the wildlife druids who help keep elemental control and make use of its wild yet healthy lifestyle.
The favoured goddess is Farore, The Goddess of Nature, alongside the side god of Venari, who is seen as great faith for the land and is placed under high respect of Farore, young oracles who guide the nation based on their will of the forest's elementals.
It is an ancient and thriving city which has earned the title of the Blended City for its many roofs, spires, and domes that are glittered with natural fauna and foresty within the high afternoon sun. Much of the metal that was here has been stripped away, and it remains an example of natural wildlife and what it could be again. However it is rumored to be plagued with technology enthusiasts that wish to strip the natural land for its resources with technology advancements.

Government
The rule of Gloomfield falls to the Order of the Moon Council, a body composed of those who are their chosen officials known only as the Seers of Edel. These conjurers are said to be able to commune with the elemental, and decide the course of the nation though order of discussion and consensus. Around the time of the Calamity, however Gloomfield's fate was so uncertain that, the Elder Seer and head of the council, the Princess is known as a figure-head who watches and is its public individual who runs mainly the city for public affairs.
There are a number of local guilds and organisations that have been established within the city. Their is the Lighter's Guild, which lights the tens of thousands of blue wired lanterns at night. The Constabulary, that keeps the city safe; and the Militia, which keeps watch of foreign affairs at night.
The City is home to the Brotherhood of Silence & Sentinels of Ancients, one of the few individuals who oversee the Crimson Court and Protectors of the Ancient Warriors that keep the forest and its inhabitants safe.
It is home to two renowned bardic schools, Gloomfield is home to two renowned bardic schools, the Kitharodian Academy and the Rhapsodic College, as well as the oldest known temple of Farore & Venari , the Basilica of the Last Animal.
Royalty
Gloomfield's Royal Class is comprised of inheriting houses who are said to have no proper inheritance to the king themselves, there is no rightful ruler. An lord is made every 50 years and after their reign they are seen as a individual who partakes in the council. Members of the Royal party are said to hold the titles such as patrician, magister, proconsoul, mandator, exarch, viceroy, duke, and others. A large number of scholars in the Primogen Library keep and update the genealogical records, as each title has a subtle place in the hierarchy of the nation, which is voted based on education and moral views. The Grand Lord, can raise a citizen or senator of the empire up to royalty by bestowing a title and wealth, but does so only once a year in a huge celebration at the palace within the settlements of the nation. The only rule is that it has to be an inhabitant that has lived here since the start of the nation.Ranks and privileges
Among the numerous noble titles conferred upon Gloomfield citizens there remain several ranks which retain a specific function within the governance of the state. While the meanings and grandeur of these titles may change over generations, the current government recognizes the following noble titles in hierarchy from greatest to least.- Grand Duke: Ruler of a settlement. This title is limited to a maximum of recognised settlements under their rule.
- Governor: Appointees of the Crown who rule a province. Many governors also bear the title of lesser grand duke.
- Duke: Landed dukes administer a duchy within a prefecture and report to the grand duke thereof. Dukes who have not been conferred land, but serve the grand duke, are referred to as "attending dukes".
- Senator: All senators must bear another noble title in order to be installed in the Council of Timber. All senators may vote in the Council of Timber
- Marquess: Serves as the guard of a wilderness or border region and typically has a standing army to defend this region.
- Count/Earl: Both counts and earls administer a county within a duchy. These titles are generally equivalent in rank.
- Landgrave: Similar in function to the role of Marquess, the landgrave administers an unsettled, but important, tract of land. Landgraves do not typically command an army to defend their region, and thus are seen as lesser than a marquess.
- Baron: Landed barons rule large territories known as a barony. A barony may contain a significant portion of land with numerous villages, or a large city. Barons who do not administer a barony often serve as advisors to the Crown.
- Baronet: A lesser assistant to a Baron who carries out many of the mundane administrative tasks in the barony.
- Viscount: Oversees a portion of a county, typically a couple of small villages and their connecting roads.
- Tribune: Typically serves as mayor and justice for a community, such as a village or a neighborhood within a larger city. This is often an elected position, though it may be conferred upon an individual for political reasons. Tribunes usually report to Barons.
- Lord: A ruler of a specific land. Lords often report to barons, though occasionally they report to a viscount.
- Knight: The lowest rank among Gloomfield nobles. Typically children of nobles are conferred this title first, especially those with military service.

Industry & Trade
- Leatherwork, The artisans of Edelyin use the finest hide and bones that hunters can provide, and craft works of such quality as to garner the admiration of the entire realm. They ensure that never will any part of an animal go to waste.
- Alchemists, They gather resources from the Herbalist Guild, they make potions which they then sell to various consumers.
- Herbalists, to gather plants making sure to replant them back in the forest. They make sure they use the forest and its various elements to not disturb the wildlife with removal of certain food sources of plants. Many grow their own for their own businesses while hiring Alchemists to turn them into potions that gain a trade for the business.
Districts
Gloomfield is divided into twelve distinct districts, each with its own flavour and characteristics. An thirteenth district is said to exist but it is not seen within the cities maps, but rumours have spread.
The dominant characteristic, is the central canal that forms a fork within the center of the middle of the city, that arches upwards into the form of a large waterfall that comes from the top of the tenth district from the mountains above. Where a large tower presides heading upwards towards the skies, which is the world's megadungeon.
