"What?"

"You will address me as 'your majesty', or I shall have you thrown out of this court." Everyone in the king's court was now uncomfortable.

"Yes... Your majesty. I humbly request that you cease your assault against the Arkenhold's border. They have done you no wrong in refusing your daughter's hand in marriage. My sister was neither willing nor interested in their crown prince. "

"Indeed. You would think that, wouldn't you. Your mind is so focused on the unfortunate side effects. This war is necessary and noble."

"It is anything but! You began the attack on a civilian troop of merchants!"
"They instigated this war when they insulted the Honor of House Ethrall. We will bring them to their knees and welcome them to the fold my fathers father began so long ago."

"You seek to annex another royal kingdom? The Dukes of Navion will never let that happen."

"The dukes will not have a choice boy. The rushing tide of monsters on their borders will prevent any action they will take against us. I have positioned us perfectly for victory. You must lead a special task force into a hidden keep where they hold weapons of great effect. You will steal as many of these as you can so we can make them ourselves. We will turn the tide with their own advantage." The prince had seen the intel from the spies missions. He knew that this keep was far more defended than his father realized.
