Creative Practice Day 22

General Summary

"Did you think I was a fool, Ashiel? If that is your name at all." The demon had barely dodged the blast, but it had shattered the perfect imitation it wore. It stumbled back, sulfrous eye burning towards Ensa. "I know your kind well enough to know you can take the form of your former selves. I knew what you were from the start."  "I should have killed you when I had the chance" Ashiel, now Inxyos, hissed.  "How right you are. Any final words?" Ensa raised the radiant revolver to Inxyos's eye level.  "I still know where your wife and child are. Without me how will you find them before the cannibal gangs torture and eat them?" Inxyos hands were raised defensively and as he backed into a corner. Ensa hesitated.  "I'll make you a damn good deal. Take me to them, and help me get them out. One instance of betrayal and I fry you. Understand? If you don't hold up your end we go right back to this position and you get a bullet between your eyes. If you do hold up your end of the bargain, I just send you back to your domain. How does that sound?"  "And why would I trust a demon hunter in a bargain?"  "Cause it's your only option, Inxyos." Reluctantly, the demon summoned pen and paper, drafted the deal, and signed it. "Of course you use legal paper."  "It's standard"  "I'm sure it is." Ensa's smile as he shook the demons hand was genuine. Everything had gone according to plan.
