Creative Practice Day 17

General Summary

"Archmage. You seem so swift in leaving my presence. Why don't you stay longer. We have plenty of rooms, food, whatever you might need in your journey."  Elsandros, the archmage looked at the floor slowly, a quiet sadness filling his eyes.  "Countess Siobhan, I would love to. Unfotunately my duty calls me elsewhere tonight. I hold your hospitality and the memories of our early adventures in high regard. I... I wish I could stay." His gaze did not meet hers.  "We have a lot to catch up on."  "That we do."  "What errand weighs so heavy on you that you must leave without even staying an hour?" Siobhan walked to her old friend, and touched his arm gently.  "There is a villiage not far from here that is sinking into the mountain it is built on. If I don't reach it soon enough, many may perish. I would have warned them to evacuate just in case... but it was not I who promised my services, and such they wait for the 'Great archmage' from leandros to come and rescue them."  "That sounds like many of our old adventures. When the whole group was together." Siobhan smiled as she remembered the antics from all those years ago. De'on's gaze met hers for a moment.  "Should you want to relive some of those days, you are free to join me. I wouldn't mind the company. The villiage is perhaps a week's ride from here."  "It must be up in troll country."  "Yes, but they know me now. I have built an understanding with them."  "It must be easier when you could turn them into stone with a wave of your hand." De'on rolled his eyes, smiling.  "Yes... I did have to impress them before they gained my respect."
