Thyrios Thistletide

Thyrios Thistletide is a cunning and bitter satyr who once lived peacefully in the marshlands near Bazina, tending to a small homestead and farm that blended harmoniously with the land. A protector of the wilds with a deep connection to the Feywild, Thyrios had no quarrel with mortals—until Bazina's expansion turned his life to ruin.   When the town began its land improvements, his farm was flooded by redirected waterways meant to stabilize the settlement. Thyrios resisted, trying to salvage his home and fight back against the destruction, but Mayor Eranor Steelbrook and his closest allies saw him as an inconvenience—nothing more than an obstacle to be cleared. To force him out, they had his cabin burned to the ground, leaving him with nothing.   Consumed by vengeance, Thyrios sought to destroy Bazina in return, plotting to steal the Tempest Stone and use it to unleash a flood that would drown the town. However, before he could carry out his plan, a group of adventurers intervened. Recognizing that not all of Bazina’s people shared the mayor’s callousness, they brokered a truce. Using a favor owed to them by the town, they secured a new, suitable plot of land near his original home, allowing him to rebuild his homestead rather than destroy the town in his fury.   While Thyrios remains wary of Bazina’s leadership, he has softened toward its people, understanding that many of them never wished him harm. Though he is still prone to mischief, trickery, and the occasional spiteful prank, he now focuses on reclaiming his way of life, tending to his new home and watching carefully for any further encroachments into his domain.
