Sunnan
Geography
Sunnan is a swollen M-class supergiant whose outer layers boil with slow, massive currents of superheated plasma that rise and fall over tens of thousands of kilometers. The star’s equator stretches out to its most striking feature: a luminous, rainbow-coloured event horizon that makes the star look almost like a disk. This ring appears as a prismatic band that bends and refracts Sunnan’s red-orange light into continuous spectrum arcs of blue, green, violet and gold across the surrounding space.
