Kalder is a less luminous O-type subgiant whose surface is covered in flat hotspots. Despite being so large, it emits its light in the infrared range which stymies the livability of the few planets within orbit. Dark's light is harsh and bluish-white, with a warm infrared intensity that makes it seem paradoxically 'darker' to the naked eye compared to the brilliance from the
Light Star.
Rain Zone
This orbital motion produces two entwined lobes of alternating compression and rarefaction where the stars’ gravitational fields interlock. Konnor generates a broad, sweeping lobe of gentle gravimetric curvature, while Kalder produces a smaller companion curve. These opposing lobes rotate with the stars, creating a perpetually churning pattern that whips across the seid system. Within this geometry, dust and water droplets are shepherded into curved streamlines that form migrating bow-shaped arcs that echo a yin–yang symmetry.
