Yrst

Yrst is the daughter of Viklyn & Sumya.

Vyklyn was abandoned as a young woman and raised herself between the mountains of Jaune eating eggs from nests and hunting birds. She became obsessed with the power that she felt when she ate bigger and bigger birds, finally hunting a giant eagle for years before it left the mountain and headed towards the Galadite Forest near Kenax. As she hunted it and tried to find it in the forest, she encountered Sumya. Even in the fight that broke out between the two of them, there was the human contact that neither had enjoyed for years. Yrst was the result of that consummation and they abandoned her as well when she was a small girl, leaving her to fend for herself with not even a shared language being given to her by her parents. She only knew words, such as "eat, hide and kill" before her parents left her in the forest. Jansk was the crippled son of a family from an island south of Jaune. As his family made the long trip from Jaune to Rouge, he became very sick, and they left him to die, being unable to carry him, and he being unable to walk, they thought that he would not survive. They left him in the forest with enough food to last him a few days. Yrst as a young girl, found him and though she stole his food at first, she became curious and kept him alive. They were both weak, small and had few resources to help them, but Jansk was cunning and Yrst was fierce and they soon learned to trap and hunt anything or anybody who came into the forest. They had many children together. Their sons were very fierce and took to raiding other tribes and travelers who came through the forest. Eventually they began to raid into the kingdom of Jaune and caught the attention of the royal family when they attacked one of the Royal Caravans and took some priceless jewels and in particular a certain piece of jewelry that had a very old jaune stone with some of the oil of jaune from the old world trapped in it. The royal family sent their son Raku to try and retrieve the jewel. He was a rash young man and he killed every last person of the tribe, when he came to their daughter Silvikyn he was about to kill her until he saw her incredible beauty and decided to keep her as his wife instead.
