Skyking

The galadites, the Sulati and the people of Silvikyn and the peoples of Scavenger Valley. The people of the woodseers valley. The people of the village of Hazdi and Rougeon between the Galadites and the Scavenger Forest.

In Rougeon survives the desire for order that the Zingyn had. In Hazdi survives the ruthlessness of the Zingyn. The Zingyn were aggressive but self-protective at the expense of all others around them. Zingyn was the son of the Sky King.

The Zalai were the people of Silvikyn’s parents. The Zalai were also of a ruthless sort but theirs was as a self-consuming culture. Zalai was the daughter of the Sky King that he had with the woman that he met in the forest Myngzet (from where she took the name that she assumed after she moved there) she had run from the woodseers valley when she was young, not wanting to learn the ways of peace, not wanting to be controlled by the mind numbing potions that her people used to escape the lands around them. Myngzet had wanted to feel it all, to feel every moment, every piece of pain around her. She wanted to taste the meat of the forest, she wanted to feel the dirt on her feet, she wanted to wash herself in the water of the streams of the forest, to feel the moonlight on her skin. She wanted to feel her hair soaked by the rain. She was wild and ferocious but fiercely beautiful, her hair was thick and the waters of the forest made it shine. She combed it with a thick pick that she had mottled from the shell of a tortoise and she would sit in the moonlight and comb it and braid it and hold it and twist it around her head, letting it lay in thick braids around her shoulders, sheltering her neck. Myngzet had been there the night that the Sky King arrived. He had come through the invisible veil in the forest, from the dark side of the earth, barely alive yet still fighting. His armor melted together and bound around him, yet he lived. His sword hacking away at his armor in the muddy lake in the middle of the woods, close to the clearing where she sat in the moonlight soaking in the light into her skin and braiding her hair. He saw her as he freed himself and she had seen him when he was free from his armor. She had fled to the heights of the trees and slung down arrows on him from her blowgun. He had tried to hunt her to capture her. With a fight between them that had taken six moons of ambushing each other and trying to kill each other, they had eventually ended up in hand to hand combat and being unable to destroy one another they eventually mated and had a daughter Zalai and a son Zingyn. Zalai was as fierce as her mother and never spoke. The Sky King was a strong man and very tall and fierce himself, but where he had come from he had escaped and he sought the domination of this new forest, the subjugation of it, he bore in him the desire to purge the forest of all life and to destroy all who came into it.

The Zingyn and the Zalai were siblings son of the Sky King as he called himself.

Zalai the daughter takes on some traits from her father and others from her mother.

Zingyn the son takes other traits on. Zingyn takes the self-destructive traits. Zalai has self-preservation traits.
