Baran sets about to save as many of the children that he finds and his heart of compassion comes out as he rescues child after child.
Baran’s father Myj grew up in the northern part of Jaune, where his father took him on searches up and down the eastern coast of Jaune searching for rare resources that they could trade in Farah Bazaar as well as with travelers and caravans that they met on their journeys.
Baran’s father is Myj and his mother is Xani.
Myj grew up traveling as the sone of a mercenary so he knows many languages and his father taught him diplomacy and the sword. When he encountered Farah Bazaar and saw the value of trade, he turned aside from the violent lifestyle that his father had trained him in and began to gain interest in trading.
When he went one day into an establishment to trade some foodstuffs, he encountered Xani as she received the goods from him. They were smitten with each other. Myj had a bracelet that his father had given him from the plunder of one of the fishing villages of the north that had a big azure stone in it. Xani’s father noticed it. Myj had never thought of its value but when he began to frequent the shop and become friendly with Xani, her father took him in the back room roughly at first as if he were in trouble to show his strength. Then he told him that if he wanted to marry his daughter, that he must do two things, give him the bracelet for her dowry, and never return to Farah Bazaar again or he would be killed. His daughter was too beautiful for him to constantly be watching out for her and she clearly was not interested in the crimes that he was committing and it was getting frustrating to him, to have her around with her fine clothing and interests in music and theater and fine things.
Myj gladly agreed and they eloped that night, never to set foot in Farah Bazaar again.
