Coso
Geography
Most of Coso is savanna or rolling grasslands. There may be some scrub lands and dunes to the southeast. The south is bordered by the ocean.
Fauna & Flora
Several root vegetables are common to the area, which can be cultivated. Some areas have fruit or nut trees. While not native to the area, cattle are commonly found here, which have been selectively bred for the hot and relatively arid climate--Coso cattle are small and hardy, almost half the size of the larger cattle found elsewhere, with large horns and a fat lump on their shoulders for water and nutrient storage.
Natural Resources
Small copper and other mineral deposits are scattered across the landscape.
