Web Weavers Guild

All members of this guild can be identifed intricate and detailed variations of a spider web tattoo on tops of their hands and the uniquely ornate and stylized sickles they carry at their side when they are going to and from their daily work.

Structure

A small group of men and woman that have mastered the skill of weaving spider's silk into rope and cloaks.

Culture

They are highly secrative of how the process is done to create the thread from the bundles of webbing and will not talk to anyone outside of the guild about their work or process. When asked they will only respond with a smile and say, "We carry the voice and skill of our ancestors."

  • Winter Spider Rope
  • A 1" thick rope made from this webbing during the winter months can hold up to 500 lbs before breaking and the same rope during the summer months can only hold up to approximately 200lbs. This is why this rope is highly sought after by mountain climbers and those traveling to the colder regions of Pandoria.

  • Winter Spider Cloak
  • It has the ability to keep even the coldest winds and is water resistant. A cloak make of this silk will keep its wearer warm up to -35 degrees and protect them from arctic winds up to 50 mph. However, any exposed flesh outside the cloak will be suseptible to damage from these extremes. Rain, snow, and sleet will roll off of the cloak, should it become completely submerged it will only take one round to be completely dry.

  • Both items can be colored single color upon request but it will add an additional 10% to the cost of the item.
