Government

The city is run by a council of 8 guild masters and the Guild Leader who in the event of a tie in some type of vote.

The Council of Guilds holds a meeting once a year to discuss the rules, pricing, work rules and any penalties or punishments that need to be metered out. Occasionally, if needed in times of conflict, or if a new guild master needs to be selected

Defences

The city is double walled all the way around it and the portcullises are formidable. Archers, catapults, and ballistas on the walls to defend against attacks from the Kebyr Sea.

The land side is defended by 500 trained militia and the expectation that every able bodies individual will defend the city.

Industry & Trade

Due to the presence of a Merchant Road that runs next to the city, trade is pretty constant.

Infrastructure

Between the active shipping docks, Merchant Road, and the power of the guilds in the city make this a very successful city. This also means that there can easily be deep undercurrent of fencing.
