Garil (ɡɑɹ iːl)

Three times a year the dwarves of this stronghold open up a gem market for three days, during the Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. It is unknown if the gems are coming from the mines or if they are brought to this place for cutting. Regardless the gems sold during this time are of extremely good quality. The merchants here will also appraise gems brought to them but will not buy any gemstone unless it is of exceptional quality or extremely rare. These merchants can tell if a gem is magically imbued simply by looking at the gem and if it is identified has having any magical dweomer the merchant will not even touch the item and will immediately tell the owner to leave the market with the gem. The merchant will also send a runner to tell other merchants of the owner and that the gem is magical.
