Personal history
Most of what is known about her is passed down by word of mouth.
She was born in the elven city of Mazraea; very little is known about her parents or if she had any siblings. She met Othenis on one of his trips to her city, and she was amazed by his stories and by his charm. Abellana approached him one evening after a particular moving story and supposedly asked him if he wanted some help in telling the story. She offered to 'play the part' of the other character in his story. He agreed; he taught her the story word for word and let her speak the other parts, which she did with consummate skill and passion. Initially, he would not allow her to travel with him but would have her work with him when he was back in Mazaea; eventually, he had her with him and, at some point, devoted herself solely to him and his dream.
One fact that has never been refuted is that when Othenis died, she fell into a deep depression, refused to leave their home, and would not tell any more of the stories they had shared. Abellana was found by their daughter, Glory, in their home, forever asleep under her husband's well-worn traveling cloak and the sleeping dragon pendant that he was wearing when they first met.

Completely devoted to her husband and to his work. She used every bit of her charm and abilities and her skill at acting and started the Theater portion of the caravan.

Prior to meeting Othenis, she followed the beliefs of her family, that being that all things above and below had spirits that needed to be acknowledged. After meeting Othenis, she devoted her energies to Lokravina but never truly giving up her original beliefs. Before beginning any story or act with her husband she would give a moment to call upon the diety for his blessing, in their home she would either light a candle for the 'house spirits' and before travelling she would would touch the ground and ask for safe travel.
