History

In the past times of Underdark, three legendary champions of Laduguer, the grim and vengeful god of the duergar, became known as the Laduguer's Bulls. These powerful duergar warlords were each entrusted with the sacred duty of expanding the reach of their people into the depths of the world. Of the three, one ventured deeper than any had before, into the treacherous Lowerdark, where light was but a forgotten myth and horrors unimaginable thrived.   The hammer is an ancestral weapon of the Thul family, originally belonging to Grandar Thul, the founder of the Thul lineage. Then it was passed to Tahyrn Thul, Grandar's son. The latest weilder of the weapon is Borygen Thul. The legendary origin of the material from which Mithrilnar is made remained mystery for almost its whole existence as most believed it was made from plain mithril. However the Mithril was reused from previous weapon that was carried by gods in the previous void conflict.    Mithrilnar became famous mostly because it was used during the battle that started Second Sunderingby slaying Tarrasque.
