    Establishment and Growth of StrikeSafe
    Financial Event

On July 29th, 2012, attorneys from the SOC Investment Group establish an asset-protection trust called StrikeSafe in Singapore, at the suggestion of the Merriman Consortium.
In the intervening ~8.5 years, several small adversarial plans gradually funnel concessions into StrikeSafe in the form of assets and securities, including voting shares in several minor corporations.
When possible, StrikeSafe vigorously advocates that boards mandate use of the .iop format for Enterprise Resource Planning. This allows multiple enterprises to participate in a unified economic plan with extremely low overhead.
A large fraction of assets are used during adversarial plans to provide childcare (through Safe.ly, meal plans, dorm rooms, and legal services, thus reducing the risk inherent in striking and allowing adversarial plans to reach consensus more easily. This is the primary cycle of accumulation that StrikeSafe operates under during this period.

    Ever Art Bridge Sit-In
    Civil action

On February 12, while the Evergreen A-class container ship Ever Art was being operated by COSCO Shipping under the Ocean Alliance vessel-sharing agreement, the captain of the ship was laid off.
Consequently, the crew barricaded themselves inside the bridge of the ship the following Monday just as the Ever Art exited Victoria Harbor, demanding that the captain be reinstated.
Both China and Taiwan sought to intervene: Taiwan, because the ship was owned by Evergreen Marine; and China because he crew were predominantly Chinese citizens, and because the captain was the leader of a regional federation of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
This led to an escalation between the two, threatening to draw the US into the conflict.

    Indo-Pacific Dockworkers' Strike
    Civil action

After years of anti-corporate campaigning against the Ocean Alliance and its member companies, the Merriman Consortium proposed an adversarial ΛCORS plan as part of an anti-war campaign in response to rising tensions between China and US Pacific allies in the wake of the Ever Art Brigde Sit-In. The plan was intended to be adopted in case of a declaration of war.
On February 18, dockworkers unexpectedly achieved consensus on this adversarial plan, despite no war being declared on China. They ceased loading ships and barricaded themselves in cranes simultaneously in Djibouti, Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, west Canada, US Pacific Islands, and the whole western seaboard of the continental US, leveraging StrikeSafe assets in those regions for strike support through Safe.ly and university labs participating in the Merriman Consortium. To win the strike, workers tasked StrikeSafe trustees with negotiating targeted concessions from countries and corporations.

    2021 Suez Canal obstruction
    Disaster / Destruction

Smit International employees tasked with refloating the Ever Given achieved consensus on an auxiliary adversarial ΛCORS plan. The auxiliary plan was intended to add pressure from the obstructed canal to draw further concessions in tandem with the ongoing strike among Indo-Pacific Dockworkers. The auxiliary plan was set to expire concomitant with the Indo-Pacific plan.

    Incorporation of the PLI
    Founding

StrikeSafe trustees found it increasingly difficult to manage negotiations as a united front with so many hostile entities simultaneously, while still sorting out personal differences in vision among themselves. Fractures began to show, and various negotiation partners were led to believe different things regarding the goals of the striking workers. After a diplomatic miscommunication in multilateral negotiations, the trustees unanimously agreed to take institutional recommendations from the Merriman Consortium and incorporate Pacificus Logistico-Industrius in Singapore under articles drafted by the Merriman Consortium. Pacificus Logistico-Industrius was immediately and unanimously declared the sole trustee of StrikeSafe in perpetuity, unseating all previous trustees.

South Korean Truckers' and Samsung Workers' Strike
    Civil action

On the second day of the 13th annual conference of the Merriman Consortium, over 300,000 South Korean truck drivers and over 200,000 Samsung employees achieved joint consensus on the ΛCORS network for an auxiliary adversarial plan, and consequently began a strike in support of the Indo-Pacific dockworkers and the employees of Smit International. At this time, 12% of Samsung voting shares had already been accumulated under StrikeSafe through previous successful strike actions, and were used to lobby support for additional stock buybacks to StrikeSafe. This plan was set to end concomitant with the ongoing Indo-Pacific plan.

    Bangor Crisis
    Military action

Nearly 7 months in to the Indo-Pacific Dockworkers' Strike, and the western seaboard of the US had been joined by striking rail and truck workers, nearly cutting off the entire US west coast from the rest of the US, logistically speaking. Shipments to and from US west coast military bases gradually faced increased slowdowns and various obstructions as base contractors and even soldiers were rumored to be downloading ΛCORS onto their personal devices.
In this context, the department of energy sought to recall nuclear weapons from Naval Base Kitsap and transfer them to more federally-accessible locations. Unfortunately, the operation meant to retrieve these weapons, Operation Unbroken Trident, turned into a 2-month long standoff. During routine maintenance on multiple nuclear submarines, over 100 members of the Washington National Guard took sailors hostage and secured nuclear weapons at Kitsap in support of the striking workers against the US federal government.
Assisted by logistical and intelligence support from the newly cobbled together Pacificus Logistico-Industrius), the guardsmen faced down the DOE's Federal Protective Forces, who found themselves logistically cut off from the US federal government while having their signals intelligence interfered with and their communications jammed.

    Johannesburg Convention
    Gathering / Conference

With negotiations stalling out between the US and Pacificus Logistico-Industrius under the shadow of the Bangor Crisis, the Merriman Consortium reoriented towards framing the Indo-Pacific conflict as something which needed to be addressed at the level of international law, and consequently set to work organizing an international summit and drafting several proposals for multilateral protocols. According to declassified internal PLI documentation, this was partially in an effort to consolidate PLI negotiations into a small set of treaties, but also to pressure the US back into negotiations by making all other nations' negotiations dependent on the US' participation.
