Springfield-Branson National Airport
This is the "takeoff location" for the 44 Division of the Route 66 Caravan, whether they are headed East or West. There are many shops and stands, and even beds or rooms for rent for those passing through. There are also plenty of common areas for people to play games, cards, and drink. Contrary to many other similar areas outside the Ozarks, no one is expected to check their weapons at the door. As such, patrons are expected to mitigate any violence on their own. Most shops and caravans have at least one bodyguard, though Route 66 Caravan members tend to have more on staff.
Architecture
The building itself has fallen into disrepair, with some parts of the building being completely inhospitable. Many gaps in the ceiling are covered with scrap sheet metal, tarps, or are sometimes just left open. Most glass has since been long blown out, which in combination with the ceiling leads to the interior being at the mercy of the elements. The rooms and beds for rent vary in quality, and some of the better landlords try their best to keep everything insulated.
