The Blessed

Characterized by their unique blend of humanoid and animal traits, the Beastren encompass a wide range of subgroups, including orcs, draconids, goliaths, tabaxi, and gnolls. Orcs

Orcs are muscular and robust, often possessing greenish or grayish skin, prominent tusks protruding from their lower jaws, and sharp facial features. They typically have broad shoulders, thick necks, and strong, sturdy builds, making them formidable warriors and hunters. Orcish societies are often organized along tribal lines, with strong emphasis placed on honor, strength, and loyalty to the clan. They are skilled in traditional combat, often relying on brute force and intimidation to assert dominance. Orcs may dwell in rugged wilderness areas or establish settlements on the fringes of human civilization.  

Draconids

Draconids exhibit reptilian features such as scales covering their bodies, elongated snouts, and sharp claws. They come in various colors and sizes, with some resembling traditional dragons in appearance and posture. Draconids may form hierarchical societies centered around ancient dragon bloodlines or serve as revered guardians of suspected sacred sites. They possess innate magical understanding derived from their draconic ancestry, which they may use for rituals, study, or combat. Draconids are often solitary creatures and highly prideful, preferring to dwell in remote locations away from prying eyes.  

Goliaths

Goliaths are characterized by their towering stature, often standing well over seven feet tall, with broad shoulders and thick, muscular frames. They have rugged, weather-beaten skin and coarse hair covering their bodies, providing insulation against the elements. Goliaths possess remarkable strength and endurance, making them well-suited to life in harsh environments. Goliaths often live in nomadic tribes, roaming the vast wilderness in search of food and shelter. They have a deep respect for the natural world and may worship elemental spirits or ancestral deities. Goliaths are skilled hunters, trackers, and survivalists, able to thrive in even the most inhospitable environments.  

Tabaxi

Tabaxi possess feline traits such as fur-covered bodies, slit-pupiled eyes, and retractable claws. They come in a variety of coat patterns and colors, ranging from sleek and spotted to fluffy and striped. Tabaxi are known for their agility, grace, and keen senses, making them skilled hunters and agile climbers. Tabaxi may form tight-knit communities in dense jungles, where they hunt game, gather resources, and engage in trade with neighboring tribes. They are curious and adventurous by nature, often embarking on expeditions to explore uncharted territories or seek out hidden treasures. Tabaxi value freedom and independence, preferring to live by their own rules rather than adhere to societal norms.  

Gnolls

Gnolls have canine features, including fur covering their bodies, snouts, sharp teeth, and pointed ears. They often have a hunched posture and a loping gait, resembling hyenas in appearance. Gnolls are ferocious predators and scavengers, possessing keen senses of smell and hearing. Gnolls are nomadic scavengers and hunters, constantly on the move in search of food and territory. They are highly territorial and aggressive, often engaging in violent conflicts with rival tribes or other races. Gnoll society is typically organized around a dominant alpha or pack leader, who commands unquestioning obedience from their followers.  

Ancestry and Origins
