The Kraken's Guantlet

The Kraken's Gauntlet is a narrow waterway that separates Deburns Island and Trendiac Island, providing the only safe passage into the Black Bay. The deep, clear waters of the Gauntlet offer a stark contrast to the turbulent seas beyond. However, the strong currents that run through the channel can be treacherous, especially for inexperienced sailors. Guarding the entrance to the Gauntlet are two imposing towers, Deburns Tower and Trendiac Tower. These fortified structures are manned by the Fleet of the Kraken, who keep a watchful eye on the waterway, ensuring that no unauthorized vessels enter the bay.
