Shipwreck Camp
Shipwreck Camp clings to the edge of the Dragon Shore, where the coastline shifts from sandy beaches to dense jungle and rolling plains. A chaotic sprawl of makeshift shelters, the camp is cobbled together from the shattered remains of wrecked ships. Sun-bleached planks, torn sails, and rotting timbers form ramshackle tents and lean-tos. Debris and driftwood are fashioned into barriers and pathways. The heart of the camp is marked by a crude prison — a pen of sharp, lashed-together beams where a few unfortunate prisoners, survivors from other wrecks, languish under the harsh sun. Smoke rises from scattered fire pits, where the scent of saltwater and cooking fish mingles with the ever-present tang of decay.
The camp's population is a volatile mix. Overcrowded and restless, it is ruled by a single enigmatic Elf known as Aubron, a soft-spoken yet commanding leader whose patient demeanor masks a core of unshakable resolve. His past and true intentions remain a mystery, though his influence is undeniable. A significant portion of the camp, made up largely of dragonborn and tabaxi, follow Aubron with unwavering loyalty. These individuals move with a purpose that hints at a hidden agenda far beyond mere survival. The rest of the camp consists of weary, hardened sailors and shipwrecked souls simply trying to endure. Distrust runs deep between the two factions, with tensions simmering just beneath the surface, as one group clings to secrets and the other to the fragile hope of escape.
