Drekihrata

Drekihrata, or Dragon's Pit, is a deep crater located on the eastern edge of the Dødeskógr  forest. The crater is a mysterious and imposing feature of the landscape, and its origin is shrouded in legend.   According to one legend, Drekihrata was created when a massive dragon fell from the sky during the ancient battle that took place in the forest. The impact of the dragon's body is said to have gouged out the crater, leaving a deep scar on the earth.   Another legend suggests that the crater was created by a powerful spell that was used to turn the tide of the battle against the dragons. The spell is said to have been so powerful that it caused the earth to tremble and the sky to darken.   Whatever its true origin, Drekihrata is a fascinating and mysterious place. The crater is filled with dark, stagnant water, and the surrounding area is shrouded in an eerie silence. Some say that the spirit of the dragon who fell here still haunts the crater, and that anyone who ventures too close risks being cursed.
