Psychic kraken
The Psychic Kraken is a dangerous and enigmatic creature that primarily inhabits aquatic zones but exhibits an ability to traverse land as well. Its form has a starfish-like body plan with a central mass ranging from 2 to 10 meters in diameter. From this conical central core, two rows of several large fleshy tentacles radiate outward, spanning an impressive 6 to 30 meters. Rumours abound of even larger specimens lurking deep within the Sunken Sea.
At the heart of this entity lies a large singular eye reminiscent of a cephalopod with a radiant rainbow iris. This eerie, yet captivating eye holds a profound aura of intelligence and is central to the Psychic Kraken's uncanny psychic abilities. Notably it does not possess a mouth.
The Psychic Kraken possesses formidable psychic capabilities, enabling it to reach out to creatures through their minds. With a mesmerizing mental "song," it lures unsuspecting victims towards its lair in the water, drawing them ever closer to its captivating gaze. Victims who succumb to its enthralling powers find themselves face-to-face with its cephalopod eye, and the unfortunate encounter results in the absorption of their life essence and psychic energy.
The Psychic Kraken's intelligence is comparable to that of sapient beings. While capable of telepathic speech, they rarely seem to do so with people.
It's psychic abilities along with its intelligence and willingness to feed apon people has led to it being classified as a monster by the monster hunter's guild. To combat these creature mages with higher levels of psychic resistance are recommended.
