MAK'TI SYMPTOMS LEADING TO DEATH PART 2

  • CON Saving Throw (DC 20) when he does magic, on a FAIL takes 2d6 of RADiANT DAMAGE.
  • Searing pain from his chest, GLITCHES (four arms, long hair, different shade of blue, human)
 

MAK'TI's DEATH

You sense it coming before it happens. A current charging through the weave, fire through the Anima Magus, the power crackles violently at is approaches its lightning rod.   You.   Those around you see your blue skin start to brighten, to glow, while the mark on your chest burns through your shirt, somehow jet black despite the massive energies you feel supercharging every atom of your body.   The light is indescribable, the weight of being flooded with this much power intolerable.... and yet beautiful. For a moment you flash on images, portents of potential futures. You see your parents back in Lumengrad pouring over scrolls detailing the many planes of the multiverse, desperately searching for where you might have gone. You see ADWIN leading the Ushani into battle, as decaying corpses rise from the ground and prepare for an unholy war. An older Vrae practicing combat with a young Aasimar girl who has features that clearly resemble her mother, Narinn embracing a large creature in the forest while the rest of your friends look on confused, T'nin and Mark at a dark inn in a town shadowed by mountains, getting up, snorting the last of their rogue's dust, grabbing their weapons and heading out, with Mark commenting ("Let's finally go kill some fucking bunnies"), Bord with grey streaks in his feather's playing the family banjo to a delighted crowd of aarkokra, including his family, and lastly, Da'ath riding a sapphire dragon through the Astral Sea, smiling ear to ear as he holds a shimmering glaive above his head.   You look down and see 6 golden threads connecting you to each member of your party. shining almost as bright as your skin. You can feel the link to each person, full of trust, respect, companionship, and maybe even shades of familial love.   Astahii tepoha anchored wux, ulnaus wux tepoha chiilia jennu youwei.They have anchored you, together you have accomplished great things.   You look up see the speaker is one of 3 gargantuan golden dragons that have appeared, larger than any you've seen before, standing before you. One motions with his hand, chopping down, and a feathered arm, itself larger than any of the dragons, sweeps down and severs the golden threads. You immediately feel the loss, loniness, untethered.   You look up and see a massive white masked face so big it is blotting out the sun itself. She is slowly nodding in agreement as the threads finish dissolving.   You can feel your very cells start to burn, the pain excruciating. This will not stop what is coming, but it will buy this world, and its champions time.   You can feel the raw potential of the weave coursing through you, wild and uncontrollable, and ravenous. You know you have but a few moments left, perhaps enough to say goodbye.   (let Tony talk)   Smoke billowing from his pores, Mak'Ti takes one final breath, as storm clouds roll in, and everyone feels the hair on the back of their necks, or on their arms, rise. He takes one final look at you all (pause), as a blue-tinged lance of pure electricity blasts down from the heavens, the charge desperately grasping for its opposite, which is what is currently pulsating within Mak'Ti. The bolt is violent, and blindingly bright, and when the energy dissapates in the ground beneath you, and back into the weave itself, there is nothing left of the blue-skinned Vedalken you once knew besides minute bits of ash scattered to the wind.

CHALINOS

  • T'nin goes missing
  • Group splits up to head to the Brothel and the Docks
TREASURED BOXES DOCKS
  • Mak'Ti, Vrae and Narinn talk to Fauku III - Dragonborn F - Dockmaster at Chalinos Docks who tells them there is the KRAK YAW in port and they notice it has a giant KRAKEN SKULL mounted on the bow
  • They give the boat all the SEASHELL tracking necklaces from SURFTON to throw off anyone following them
QUILL OF THE PEOPLE
  • Mark goes here looking for the book to make him smart, speaks with Riama - Elvin F - Librarian in Chalinos who gives him some text books to read and points him to the FRONT PARCHMENT shop for porn
THE FRONT PARCHMENT   HALLOWED INN
  • At one point Galdunel - Half Orc - New Champion to Melike sneaks through to use teleportation circle
  • They go hear to hang out, drink, and long rest
  • Bord investigates the "gym" room, finds remnants of Glubglar's failed business, as well as shards of mirror (Mirror of Life-Trapping), but dont do anything with it
LONG REST INTO PAUCID 2nd
  NECROMANSION
  • Charm their way past the T-Rex zombie after learning his name is BOBBY
  • Make their way through the house, right away solving the puzzle to get downstairs
  • They flee the skeletans and get to Alphanis' office, where they steal all his left-over belonging from C2, but also read the warning from him not to touch anything
  • Face a Death Knight, but manage to convince it they are emissaries of King Alphanis, and he lets them go
  • They collect the SCROLL OF MASS RAISE DEAD and exit the back entrance
  DEATH OF MAK'TI
  • Mak'Ti invites them all to do a ritual to destroy the Scroll of Mass Raise Dead
  • Narinn gives STEEL DEFENDER, Da'ath gives a GLAIVE, Mark gave his MANTICORE BRACELET, Vrae creates DANCING FLOWING RAVEN WING FIGURES
  • Mak'Ti does the ritual (see top) and the power of it kills him through his DragonMark, withn Draconic gods saying it will delay the coming doom and give the rest of the party more time to save Terus
SESSION ENDS around 4pm on PAUCID 2nd, outside the Necromansion after Mak'Ti death.

  • On a FULL MOON, the afflicted character must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw or suffer the Terror of the Night effects with a DC depending on whether the player chose to embrace or resist the curse.
  • Resist the curse - DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw (Both have advantage since they conquered TERROR OF THE NIGHT)
  • The curse is at its strongest whenever there is a Full Moon in the sky
  • DC 10 WIS Saving throw to remember the night if Transformed

  • COVER AGENTS - sneaking into CLOUDSCAPE fortress to gather intel on the war and who killed King Alphanis for SURFTON King Monsoo
