Session 13
General Summary
EARLY MORNING - JAMARRO 24th (1am-ish)
BRIGHTSHELL HARBOR
Squeakers Brothel- Tiamat will use sleeping Mark's form to go spy on Bronze Dragon in Brightshell Garrison (Stealth of Mark is +4) while sleeping while possessed.
- Da'ath and T'nin do not notice, but in the morning notice the open window and Mark's dirty feet
- T'nin tells Mark about the possession, Bord comes in, they decide to go to the Church to Kol Korran to try to exorcise the demon from Mark
- Vrae has to survive her first TERROR OF THE NIGHT, which she does with no issue.
- Mak'Ti make sure she still wants to do this, she does
- In the morning, they head to the brothel where they are told the group is heading to the church
- Mark is immensely uncomfortable at the Church, Nuri can see slightly wisps of smoke coming off of him
- Ennag, the Chaplin, says that Mark's mind and body are weak as she can see/sense his corruption due to Koce
- Ennag does not think she can excorcise anything connected to Tiamat as they are only capable of Lesser Restoration and Remove Curse, suggests going to much stronger clerics in Boludo or Warrenstone (group worried about this one as Mark has told them about killing Harengon in Warrenstone in the past)
- Mark is not overly worried since Lykalada'ath worships Tiamat
- Mak'Ti and Lykalada'ath have heated argument about Tiamat and possession of Mark, broken up by Bord's song
- Group decides to march down to Cresche to meet emissaries of Tiamat and see about Da'ath's people
- On way out of the city, they stop at General Store to speak to Yott about goods
- Purchase rations and Potions of Healing
- T'nin realizes Da'ath only gave him 25 GP for the arena fight, excuses it as he was knocked out very quickly
- Group decides they are only going to walk to the Cresche as it is only about 2 days walk
BAYOU
Road to the Cresche- Group tries to bond on the way and fix some of the trust issues, not very successfully
- T'nin keeps trying to steal stuff from Vrae
- During the first long rest of the trip, Mark is bound by T'nin's kusa and while asleep his eyes open scarily as the creature within stares around angril (Da'ath puts a clothe over his head to hide it) - they all hear nothing in the night rolling low perception checks during their watches
- Vrae saves her 2nd Terror of the Night, continuing to do well on her mastering her Lycanthropy
- Arrive at the ruins of the Gith Cresche, the underground parts completely caved in
- Only parts that look newer and working at the blacksmithery, where they find metal pieces looking to be from a LIVING GATE (like Lyka's bracer) and a small piece of Sapphire, guessing this might be where his bracer was made
- Vrae also finds a Token of Feather Fall
- They also find various rusted weapons
- Mak'Ti finds very old headstone with the following written in GITH:
" Here Lies (letters smoothed out by time, as much of the tablet is)...after Illithids disappeared....pulling all forces back to Tu'Narath...this world held no strategic value...only he remained, awaiting the return of his...(missing letters)..ada'ath"
- In the ruined Great Hall, Lyka finds Gith writing saying "Nirosian was here" and he begins to suspect his father died here waiting for him.
- Around this time the emissary of Tiamat arrives, an abishae disguised as a Green Dragonborn
- He speaks Draconic but uses telepathy to speak so everyone can understand, introducing himself as Mattia
- He arrives atop an Ancient White Dracolich, which Nuri tries unsuccessfully to befriend
- Mattia tells them that Tiamat cares little for Lyka's Psurlon problems, sees that as beneath them
- Says Mark has a "great honor" being the "Eyes of the Queen" on Terus
- Says Tiamat will give Lyka a Mindflayer to kill so he can present its head to his people in exchange for him going to Chalinos in Domunz and bringing the Mass Raise Undead spell of Drew Scroll to her CULT OF THE DRAGON members
- Lyka agrees to the terms, even though Mattia says if the group fails they will make an enemy of Tiamat and her cult
- Mattia confirms the Illithids and Lyka have been gone for 1,000 years, that his father has not been seen for nearly that long, but his mother is not known to have died recently.
- Also hints that the Githyanki are not what they once were, but the Illithids are exactly the same before they jumped ahead in time 1,000 years ago
- Mattia exits, calling the Dracolich "Aldryne" as he exits
- Group has big discussion of next steps, Mak'Ti very concerned that they may be help a dark God and her cult do evil deeds, potentially world ending deeds on Terus
- For now, they decide to head to bed and long rest before they make any decisions

Terror of the Night
When you take a long rest, you must succeed a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or become transformed at a random point during the rest, attacking the nearest available creature a minimum of 2 turns if able. Your actions and bonus actions must be used for melee attacks against other creatures if able during those turns, and attempting to transform back afterwards must also succeed a DC 10 Constitution saving throw. This does not use your limited transformations, and you still gain all the benefits of a long rest if you resume your rest before 30 minutes past. In order to remember the events of this transformation, you must succeed a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw, otherwise you have no recollection of these events.- Each long rest that you do not transform due to Terror of the Night, you may attempt to gain more control over your transformations by making a DC 10 Constitution Check.
- Each long rest you kill creature(s) while transformed due to Terror of the Night, gain a -1 modifier to the Constitution Check in attempts to control the beast.
- If you succeed in an accumulative total of 5 Constitution Checks when you attempt to control the beast, you automatically succeed on saving throws for the Terror of the Night feature except on full moon, in which case you have advantage on the saving throw.

CHAR Saves (Resisting the Curse)
Whenever the character transforms they must make a Charisma saving throw, DC 15, which increases with each failed save or decreases with each successful save. Once the save hits DC 20, the character has succumbed to the Beast and is permanently lost, taking on the effects of embracing the curse. On that same note, if the DC hits 0, the character has completely mastered their inner Beast, and does not have to make any more saves, except during Full Moons.- (Started at DC 15)

CON Saves (Full Moon)
- On a FULL MOON, the afflicted character must succeed on a Constitution Saving Throw or suffer the Terror of the Night effects with a DC depending on whether the player chose to embrace or resist the curse.
- Resist the curse - DC 20 Constitution Saving Throw (Mak'Ti Has with advantage since he conquered TERROR OF THE NIGHT)
- The curse is at its strongest whenever there is a Full Moon in the sky
- DC 10 WIS Saving throw to remember the night if Transformed
For Next Session (review!!)
- Bord's new book will have songs he recognizes, melodies and lyrics that are similar to the ones the Cult gave him, ancient songs used while worshipping deities that proceed the known gods
- If Vrae and Mak'Ti remain Wereravens, will become EMISSARIES OF THE QUEEN, chosen by the Raven Queen to stop the coming darkness. See New Deities Coming to Domunz
- Tibac the Tortle Druid says he will let Mak'Ti know, through Sending spell, if he finds anything more about Cults
