Rowlken Construction and Terraforming
Rowlken Construction and Terraforming is an anomaly. The corporation did not exist before the corporate wars, but came into being halfway through- born from the splinters of dozens of other corporations. They survived by simply removing themselves from the rest of the conflict to the outer reaches of human space, building up on the roughest, least productive worlds. By the time the New Economic Block began to coalesce, RCT brought itself back into the fold.
Rowlken Construction and Terraforming specializes in what they call ECCs: EXPLORATION, CONSTRUCTION, and COLONIZATION. They are one of the biggest customers of Madison Shipyards, and are involved in a bitter trade war with Dyson Energy. RCT's colonies supply most of the New Economic Block's raw materials, but they deal in bulk, so their profits aren't as high as other corporations. The majority of their funds come from terraforming planets for other corporations. Most of the rest is related to rare material prospecting in the dark corners of the galaxy. RCT also employs many spies, for they lust after the terraforming technology jealously guarded by the Jewels of De Mairan.
Rowlken Construction and Terraforming treats any employee below C-Suite level as a tool to be used and discarded. Promotion is almost unheard of. Ceaseless toil is the only corporate culture there is; most of the lowest-level employees hope to strike it rich finding a habitable planet or rare ore and then retire. GLAs and Hybrids are the ultimate epitome of this culture; RCT treats them as very expendable tools, and is fond of sending them off in one-way exploration probes to explore and die.
