General Manufacturing

General Manufacturing holds the honor of being the only corporation built after the New Economic Block was fully created. The differing manufacturing arms of all the other corporations found themselves competing for the same space on the same planets to create the same items, and it was decided by all involved that it'd be cheaper for everyone to just amalgamate their general manufacturing divisions into one entity. General Manufacturing joined the New Economic Block as the last, 12th member.   General Manufacturing handles all the things the other corporations don't want to touch. This more or less devolves to consumer products to keep the hoi pelloi fat and happy. GM builds TVs, video games, toys, lower-level machinery, and all sorts of things that let the general public think about anything besides the fact that they live in a corporate dystopia. General Manufacturing, as part of its original charter, transfers 1/11 of the profits to each other corporation. This makes General Manufacturing resource poor, but they are the largest employers of the New Economic Block.  Recently they have also expanded to provide the vast majority of arms, armament, ships, and equipment to the Block and allied polities- though it should come as no surprise that a huge amount is then resold to Neo-Human space.   General Manufacturing corporate culture is probably the healthiest of the New Economic Block, seeing as their entire purpose is to build things for the lesser, little folk. Nonetheless they are quick to tap malcontents for induction into their private army, the largest and possibly the best (uniformly) trained fighting force in the galaxy. What else are they going to do with all that manpower? Since GM is a corporation of and for the 'people', much like Top-Shelf Agriculture, they view GLAs and hybrids with a scorn unmatched by the other corporations.
