Val'Thaloris
Val’Thaloris was one of the first Elven realms to rise during the Mortal Interregnum, founded in the centuries after the fall of the god Harlak. Situated in the mountains of the northern Velvet Coast along the modern border with Novaya, the realm was established by survivors of the Mortal Wars who followed the teachings of Thalor the Seer, an elven mystic that fought the forces of Harlak.
Despite its wealth of knowledge, Val’Thaloris never recovered from its failed military campaign against Jaryanne. Both Lorintha and Halentha saw opportunity in its vulnerability. By 1200 EA, rival embassies and military incursions had reduced Val’Thaloris to a puppet state. Halentha seized its magical artifacts while Lorintha absorbed many of its scholars.
