Variants

Velvet Coast Wolves (Lowland / Coastal Packs)
Sleeker, smaller-framed wolves adapted to coastal forests and marshes.   Prey on deer, pigs, and marshfowl.   City-states view them with disdain.
Caravan Wolves (Solovan Variant)
Rangier, thick-furred wolves of the high passes.   Known to stalk caravans, feeding on waste, fallen beasts, or striking weakened prey.   Feared as a constant attritional threat.
Novayan Steppe Wolves
Broad-chested, swift, and relentless hunters of the plains.   Roam in packs so large they are mistaken for raiding parties.   Revered in Novayan folklore as symbols of endurance and martial strength.
Siarland Highland Wolves
Thickest-coated of the species, adapted to snows and crags.   Roam sparsely, often alone or in small family packs.   Held in respect by the Siar clans, who tell of wolves as guides of ancestral spirits.
