Tidonia

Her training schedule keeps her in peak shape.

There seems to be nothing remarkable about her body when compared to other human females her age.

Freckles can be seen on her face.

She can usually be identified by her mask, which she never takes off in the presence of others unless needed.

Tidonia was able to study, learn and utilise the powers of pyrokinetics in the force, a fact she is very proud of. She usually refrains from using such power, however, keeping it hidden from others even, keeping it as her ace in the sleeve.

Tidonia never knew her parents. Her first memories are from pickpocketing on Level 1313. She doesn't know how she ended up in that position but knew nothing else at the time. It all changed when she stole from a Mirialan at a nearby mob cantina. She was apprehended swiftly and taken to the upper levels and introduced to the Jedi order. While adjusting was difficult initially, she slowly came to accept her new life, knowing she wouldn't be able to escape from it.
  She spent the next eleven years being educated by the Jedi, as her ideals shifted from "survival of the fittest" to "the strong protect the weak". She became a model student and graduated with an almost perfect score. It didn't take a long time for her to find a teacher afterwards. Master Jeran, the Mirialan she had stolen from all those years ago took her under his wing. When the council sent them to the front lines, life changed for Tidonia. She saw death on a scale she never imagined, saw unspeakable horrors in the eyes of the people that were maimed and killed. Her only guide was her master, who did his best to keep her from breaking. He taught her almost everything he knew, even instructing her in the art of Pyrokinetics, an ability she seemed to have a natural talent for. She became a skilled warrior, and she and her master helped bring victory to the Galactic Republic on several fronts.
  They were heavily involved in the liberation of the Kuat Drive Yards, but Jeran was called back to Tython for reasons Tidonia still knows nothing about. She was to stay on Coruscant, for the time being, helping local authorities combat crime in the area surrounding the Senate. That's when she heard about the attack on Tython. Devastated by the news, she was most worried about the well being of her master. As soon as the planet was retaken, she travelled there with the Republic troops. Her master was long dead, and she was shaken to her core. She took his lightsaber and disappeared as soon as she was taken back to the Republic Capital.
  She wandered around aimlessly for a while, not knowing what to with her life. She knew she couldn't return to the Jedi. At least she didn't want to. She moved back to 1313, finding an abandoned apartment she made her home. In the next few months, she heard rumours about a militia keeping the streets clean of crime as well as they could. She figured it would be a way to help people, so she investigated this group and eventually signed up with the White Krayts.
  The next six years, she ran with them, away from the war, just doing what's right for the citizens of the Republic. They combated several gangs and mobs, which lead to the militia, gaining quite a few rivals. In that time, she grew closer to a fellow soldier called Amer. Nothing ever happened beyond some flirts before a coalition of local gangs ambushed the Krayts. They made a desperate last stand, as most of them were killed in the opening minutes. Seeing Amer's dead body lying next to her, Tidonia snapped. The next thing she remembered was the bodies of the enemies around her, both lightsabers in her hands. She acted quickly, hiding her weapons and fleeing to their hideout. She took all funds and made her way towards the spaceport, booking a flight to Nar Shaddaa on the same day. From that day on, she never took her mask off in front of others and refused to look at her mirror image. The person under the cover had died along with her friends.

Tidonia was educated by the Jedi. This included general schooling, as well as combat, diplomacy and study of the force. While she was never able to complete her formal training, she showed an excellent understanding of the core pillars of the Jedi order. She was an inquisitive Padawan, mainly dedicating her spare time to study of the force and the galaxy at large.

Tidonia was only formally employed by the White Krayts, first as a soldier, then as an officer and eventually as First Captain, due to her incredible combat skills, which were aided by her use of the force.

Her biggest accomplishment is the formation of her own philosophy, helping people beyond the limited reach of the Jedi order. Furthermore, the fact she was able to learn pyrokinetics is a feat she takes pride in.

Her not being there for both her love interest and master weighs heavy on her, as well as her decision to turn on the Jedi order. She often catches herself dreaming about what she could have changed, had she stayed, though she hopes she has chosen correctly.

The loss of both her master and her lover have left scars on Tidonia. She feels as if she has abandoned them and therefore vowed never to form attachments ever again, trying to emotionally distance herself from everyone around her.

Tidonia prefers a slow approach, trying to assess every situation before acting. She performs well under pressure, taking in as much information as possible from the brief moments she has in a combat situation.

Having let down by the Jedi, she wants to make good on their promises of safety and peace. While highly idealistic at heart, she is aware that she cannot change the galaxy herself and knows when to fight and when to run. She respects sacrifice and believes that every being can make a change, but only together can lasting change be achieved.

Taking off her mask to her is like removing a limb, and she will only do so very reluctantly in the presence of others. She refuses to look at a mirror image of herself.

Tidonia wants to go further than the Jedi, wanting to make good on their promises of keeping the peace and saving people from unnecessary harm. She hopes to see positive change in her lifetime.

Tidonia is fascinated by music, finding peace both in consuming and practicing it. She also likes to have her feet on the ground, feeling uncomfortable in the big open void of space. She dislikes most unnecessary physical contact, and intrusions in her personal space.

At her core, Tidonia is highly idealistic, going out of her way to save others from the pain she has felt. Though she tries her best to hide this side of herself as to not leave herself open.

She is quick to judge and tries to deflect questions about herself as well as possible. Furthermore, she emotionally distances herself from the people around her, making it difficult for herself to feel empathetic.

Tidonia keeps a regular schedule, provided the situation allows for such luxury is able to. She is very cleanly, even going so far one could say she is rarely leaving any traces of her existence.

All ties to other peoples were cut due to their untimely deaths, though she still kept an old communicator as a means to contact the Jedi, was she ever compelled to ask for their assistance.

Tidonia has never known her family.

She believes that while the force influences fate, the individual must choose their own path. Nothing is set in stone, but the force nudges the events of the galaxy in a certain direction.

Tidonia seldom initiates conversations herself, not wanting others to look too deep under her façade.

She usually remains still while interacting with others. Her mask hides her facial expressions.

Her main hobbies are watching Huttball and teaching herself to play the guitar. She has gotten quite good at the latter, and she happens to be a decent singer, though she hasn't sang in quite some time.

Tidonia has a very calm and soft, yet emotionless and almost cold voice. She speaks slowly and carefully, hiding her Coruscanti accent.

Taking the White Krayts funds has kept Tidonia afloat most of her recent life, still leaving her with a decent amount of money. Until her recruitment, she owned a small 2 room flat on Nar Shaddaa.
